Schrödinger is hiring a Python Developer for its Python Development team. The role involves writing and maintaining GUI, workflow, and application code for scientific products; designing complex software; applying software engineering practices; and translating scientific requirements into performant, user-oriented solutions. Applicants should have 2–4 years of software development experience, foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and a relevant bachelor's-level engineering or technical degree. Python is preferred, while candidates with C++, Java, JavaScript/React, or other development backgrounds and basic Python exposure may transition into the role.
