Proximity is seeking a Python Developer to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Python, contributing to critical platform migration initiatives such as media pipeline and communication platform migrations. They will work with MySQL, Kafka, and AWS to build reliable and fault-tolerant systems, write clean and testable code, and participate in system design discussions. The role requires taking end-to-end ownership of features and continuously improving engineering practices.
