The Python Developer will design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI, SQLModel, and Redis; write maintainable Python code; develop database schemas and queries; create automated tests; optimize API performance; implement caching and rate limiting; collaborate with frontend and system architecture teams; support data lifecycle workflows; and mentor junior developers. The role is based in Montreal, Quebec, with a three-day hybrid schedule and onsite interviews, and requires 7+ years of professional Python development experience, a bachelor's degree, and experience with Python frameworks, databases, Docker, testing, and event-driven architectures.
