Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a Manufacturing Software Engineer to develop Python-based applications, automation, and digital solutions for the production of analytical instruments. The role focuses on Manufacturing Execution System development, automated data collection from instruments and production equipment, data analysis, system integrations, troubleshooting, and digital workflow improvements. The position requires a technical degree, Python and software development knowledge, experience with technical data, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; MES, SQL, Git, APIs, and manufacturing or industrial automation experience are preferred. The work schedule is standard Monday through Friday in an office environment.
