Saphetor is hiring a full-time Python Engineer for its backend team to develop and maintain server-side logic, the VarSome web application stack, and the VarSome API. The role involves code reviews, testing, performance optimization, frontend coordination, deployment, monitoring, and on-call participation. Candidates should have a computer science or related degree, at least three years of production Python experience with Django and Django Rest Framework, knowledge of RESTful APIs and relational databases, and strong testing and communication skills. The position is remote-first, with the company’s talent pool spread across Europe.
