Trexquant is hiring a Python Engineer to maintain and improve its trading systems and infrastructure while scaling. The role involves designing Python-based trading-platform improvements, implementing new trade functionality, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance. The engineer will collaborate with leadership, quantitative researchers, engineers, and business teams. The position requires a computer science, information technology, or STEM-related degree, at least three years of similar experience, strong Linux and Python proficiency, and knowledge of market data or order-entry systems.
