Description
Cafeyn is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to build product-facing backend services for recommendations, search, content discovery, and dynamic content experiences. The role involves developing Python APIs, low-latency real-time systems, scalable and reliable services, maintainable code, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and collaboration with product, data science, infrastructure, and engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years of software development experience and expert-level Python; recommendation systems, search engines, machine learning serving, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD are preferred. The position is based in the Paris office with a hybrid policy allowing remote work two days per week.
