Description
Google is hiring a Python Software Engineer to design, test, deploy, and maintain software automation solutions for the hardware design lifecycle, including EDA pipelines and ASIC/SoC flows. The role involves building Python applications, integrating operational frameworks, using generative AI and LLMs to create agentic workflows, prototyping tools with hardware engineering teams, and debugging complex software defects. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, three years of industry software development experience with systems and debugging, three years of Python experience, and experience with data structures and algorithms. Preferred qualifications include GenAI and LLM experience, developer-tooling experience, software architecture skills, and asynchronous collaboration experience. The role is based in Tel Aviv or Haifa, Israel, with in-person interviews.
