Description
The Finished Goods Inspector verifies parts, products, and processes for conformance to standards by comparing BOM parts lists and material numbers, measuring dimensions with digital calipers and x-ray machines, checking engineering drawings and quality specifications, recording inspection findings in Samtec’s computerized quality system, maintaining inspection records, and assisting with quality assurance procedures. The role requires at least one year of experience in inventory, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing; a high school diploma or GED; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 20/40 correctable vision and color acuity; and the ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
