Island is hiring a QA Engineer to ensure product quality through manual testing and support fast, high-quality releases. The role involves planning and executing release testing, collaborating with developers on manual test plans, advising on automation test infrastructure and writing end-to-end and component-level automation plans, and adapting testing to enterprise customer use cases and environments. Candidates need 5+ years of manual testing experience, experience with client/server and web applications across browsers and operating systems, familiarity with web applications, debugging tools, Git, Jira, and Zephyr; networking knowledge, UI/web automation experience, and a computer science or related degree are advantageous.
