Description
The Mechanical Inspector performs first-article, in-process, and final mechanical inspections of parts and assemblies using drawings, wire-connection lists, military specifications, work instructions, hand tools, and measuring equipment. The role documents and disposes of defects, communicates inspection results, supports root-cause analysis and corrective action, and may require climbing. It requires detailed drawing interpretation, precision measuring, nonconforming-material disposition, PC-based defect reporting, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
