Adherent is hiring a full-time permanent QA Lead to run a remote QA team in Ireland. The role starts hands-on as a Quality Engineer in one pod while leading three Quality Engineers, translating quality strategy into daily practice and managing goals, performance reviews, coaching, and work reviews. Responsibilities include advocating for testable specifications, curating and validating AI-generated tests with mutation testing, mentoring developers, improving quality pipelines, and integrating performance, security, and accessibility testing. The role requires at least five years of commercial software testing experience, including three years leading QA teams, along with formal leadership, architectural and pipeline design, agentic testing, CI/CD, and automation expertise.
