Description
KQED is hiring a full-time QA Lead for a temporary 18-month hire in a hybrid San Francisco arrangement. The role owns the engineering organization’s testing strategy, builds and maintains Playwright-based automated end-to-end test suites, coordinates with developers and product managers, manages bugs and QA processes, integrates tests into CI/CD, mentors QA team members, and oversees hardware testing across Android, Apple, tablets, and CarPlay devices. Candidates need at least four years of QA or software testing experience, Playwright and TypeScript expertise, knowledge of testing methodologies, version control, and CI/CD tools.
