Description
The QA/QC Supervisor leads the project quality team and supervises Quality Control Inspectors for industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, piping, welding, and related quality activities. The role oversees first-in inspections, project-specific quality control plans, audits, non-conformance management, vendor and purchased-product reviews, quality documentation, reporting, process improvement, and coordination with project management and the General Contractor’s Quality Assurance Manager. It requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of quality control experience including ASME B31 piping codes and related construction or welding fields, at least 3 years managing direct reports, and preferred AWS or ICC certifications.
