Description

Legrand is hiring a QA Software Engineer for its Power and Thermal Management Division in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The role covers manual and automated software testing, test planning, automation frameworks, defect tracking, CI/CD integration, troubleshooting, and the use of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve testing efficiency and software quality. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least four years of professional QA or related engineering experience, strong Python skills, and experience with test automation, CI/CD, APIs, and distributed systems.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of professional experience in Software QA, Software Testing, or a related engineering role
Experience creating and executing manual and automated test cases
Experience with functional, regression, integration, negative, boundary, compatibility, and concurrency testing
Experience developing, maintaining, or contributing to automated test frameworks
Experience working with CI/CD environments and automated test execution pipelines
Experience troubleshooting software defects, analyzing logs, and identifying root causes
Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools for testing, automation, debugging, or technical analysis
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Golang or Java
Experience testing AI-enabled applications or features
