Description
The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager oversees packaging, ingredient, product, and process inspection and verification; communicates quality results to production, suppliers, and customers; leads investigations of production problems and customer complaints; supervises QA staff; conducts sensory evaluations; drives continuous improvement; manages corrective actions and root-cause analysis; and supports cross-functional projects. The role requires a post-secondary degree in food science or a related field, knowledge of food regulations and HACCP, and preferably four years of QA/QC management experience. It involves office and plant work, including exposure to production hazards and allergens, with 0–5% expected travel and six direct reports.
