Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist monitors product, plant, employees, and equipment throughout food manufacturing to ensure quality and food-safety standards are met. The role includes testing and sampling finished products, conducting metal-detector and blade inspections, completing quality, food-safety, CCP, and sanitation documentation, reporting non-compliance, supporting corrective actions, maintaining KPIs, and participating in GMP and sanitation audits. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, English reading and writing ability, basic math and communication skills, Microsoft Suite familiarity, and the ability to learn cut-floor, harvest, and FSQA auditor positions.
