Description
The Qualified Medication Aide will administer oral, PRN, inhaler, nebulizer, topical, rectal, nasal, eye, and ear medications and non-invasive treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role also monitors vital signs, calculates dosages, stocks the medication cart, documents administration on the medication record, observes for drug reactions, and reports resident responses and concerns to the nurse. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a current unencumbered QMA license, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
