Description
The Quality Control Specialist performs quality-control activities for raw materials used in pet food, pharmaceutical, and feed processing. Responsibilities include recording observations, calibrating instruments, reporting deviations, producing Certificates of Analysis, monitoring temperature and cleanliness, conducting analytical tests, formulating recipes, preparing supplier incident reports, overseeing tanker and trailer seal procedures, inspecting raw products and equipment, and verifying production paperwork. The role requires frequent exposure to cool and wet conditions, lifting up to 30 pounds, working around raw meat and odors, adherence to safety and attendance guidelines, and authorization to work in the United States.
