ESMC is hiring a Quality and Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to establish and operate its local Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) site in Dresden starting January 2027. The role will set up quality workflows and automated systems, manage inline inspection tools and testing recipes, control quality changes, analyze product defects, assess quality risks, and lead yield and quality improvement projects using big data analytics and statistical methods. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field, 0–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing or quality/reliability experience, initial familiarity with defect inspection, recipe creation, failure analysis, or SPC, and fluent English; familiarity with big data, scripting, or statistical tools is preferred.
