Description
The Xcode team is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to create and maintain tests and tools, communicate with developers about feature quality, and collaborate with compiler, runtime, and OS teams on cross-boundary issues. The role focuses on extending automated testing coverage for Xcode and Instruments, building shared testing APIs, developing testing strategies, and reasoning about failure modes across software layers. Candidates need a computer science degree or equivalent experience, strong Swift or Python object-oriented programming skills, detailed test-plan experience, defect-reproduction and root-cause analysis ability, and experience with UI framework testing.
