Description
SpryPoint is hiring a QA Engineering Manager to build and lead a dedicated QA automation function from the ground up. The role is hands-on and player-coach, with roughly half the time spent leading the team and the other half writing automated tests, building framework components, and reviewing code. Responsibilities include defining the quality engineering strategy, selecting automation tooling, integrating testing into CI/CD, establishing quality gates, driving risk-based testing, hiring and coaching automation engineers, and adopting AI-assisted testing tools. The role requires 7+ years of software quality or engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineers, and offers a remote-first environment with flexible hours across North America and hub offices in Charlottetown and Atlanta.
