Description
The Manager of Plant Quality Assurance oversees the manufacturing plant’s total quality program, including food safety and quality systems, regulatory and customer compliance, CAPA, validation, audits, product disposition, and continuous improvement. The role leads third-party and SQF audits, manages the Plant QA team, supports customer and R&D activities, and serves as acting Director of Quality Assurance when needed. A bachelor’s degree in Food, Dairy, or Natural Sciences is preferred, while an associate degree with equivalent education and experience may be considered; five to seven years of related experience, food and beverage quality-program involvement, HACCP and ISO knowledge, and supervisory experience are required. The position pays $81,800 to $120,000 per year.
