Description
Chromalloy is hiring an on-site Quality Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona, for a second-shift Monday-Friday schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The role ensures aerospace products, manufacturing processes, and suppliers meet customer, engineering, regulatory, and AS9100 requirements; leads quality investigations; develops inspection and control plans; performs first-article inspections; analyzes quality data; supports audits and continuous improvement; and partners with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams. A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred, along with manufacturing or aerospace experience, quality-system knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills. The position requires physical work in a manufacturing environment, PPE use, and may require additional evening, weekend, or holiday work.
