Description
The Food Safety and Quality Inspector performs pre-operational, in-process, and finished-product inspections in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include checking production areas, equipment, labels, formulations, ingredients, packaging, records, and employee compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, and other food-safety requirements; verifying monitoring equipment; collecting samples; maintaining quality records; and coordinating corrective actions with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with food-safety systems, and the ability to work in a physically demanding production environment.
