AWS is hiring a Quality Control Engineer to lead QAQC processes for data center construction projects from pre-design through turnover and beyond. The role reviews design documents, develops inspection plans and checklists, conducts onsite inspections, coordinates with third-party vendors, tracks defects and quality metrics, prepares turnover packages, and supports continuous improvement. The position requires substantial experience in mission-critical facility engineering, commissioning, electrical and mechanical systems, and data center environments, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field. It is based in Canton, Mississippi, with 50% travel within the local cluster and across North and South America, and offers a base salary of $105,100 to $157,300 annually.
