Description
The Quality Control Engineer will work for the Quality Manager and coordinate with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review plans, specifications, submittals, and project drawings; perform field inspections; document quality-control inspections electronically; monitor civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work; witness testing; and prepare reports using quality-assurance systems and BIM models. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, professional industry training and experience, at least five years of experience in construction quality inspection, project engineering, or superintendence on large commercial or government projects, and proficiency with MS Office, Navisworks, and construction management software.
