Description
The Quality Control Technician performs hands-on inspection and documentation of structural steel and concrete products, including prepour and postpour inspections, variance reports, shop drawings, fresh and hardened concrete testing, aggregate moisture tests, sieve analysis, and initial set tests. The role also involves CNC shop equipment programming, product marking, quality-control recordkeeping, housekeeping, safety compliance, and collaboration with the Quality Control Manager and production personnel. Basic math and computer skills, tape-measuring ability, multitasking, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering are preferred, with construction-related experience also preferred.
