Velocity Bioworks is hiring a Quality Control Scientist III for an onsite position in San Antonio, Texas. Reporting to the Manager, Quality Control, the role performs routine, in-process, and stability testing of drug products and raw materials, supports analytical method qualification and transfer, investigates out-of-specification results and deviations, maintains laboratory equipment and documentation, and trains junior staff. The position requires a bachelor’s or advanced graduate degree in a relevant scientific field and 4+ years of relevant experience for bachelor’s holders or 3+ years for master’s or PhD holders, with at least 1 year in QC operations.
