PPG is hiring a Quality Control Technician - 2nd Shift to work onsite at its Liquid Production Plant in Brazil, IN. The role receives production samples, performs scientific testing, documents and interprets results, approves or rejects products, maintains laboratory housekeeping, and may establish specifications and standard operating procedures. The shift runs Sunday night through Friday morning from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. A high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; chemistry courses, ISO 9001 experience, and Oracle experience are helpful.
