Description
Foster Farms is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Quality Control Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing USDA Regulatory, Corporate Guidelines, and Quality Control Programs. This includes conducting internal audits, interfacing with production supervisors, working with USDA personnel to resolve regulatory issues, and managing the micro-hold product program. The technician will also have the authority to hold non-conforming products and make decisions regarding their disposition. Additionally, they will lead QC technicians, maintain quality-reporting systems, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality policies.
