Description
The Quality Control Technician inspects aggregate materials and finished products through field and laboratory sampling and testing, ensuring compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and VMC standards. The role documents and communicates test results, investigates product-quality problems and complaints, recommends corrective actions, monitors stockpiles and truckloads for contamination or segregation, assists with plant calibrations, maintains testing equipment and records, and coordinates with operations personnel, inspectors, and customers.
