The Manufacturing Inspector inspects machined parts and components for compliance with engineering requirements, order specifications, and quality-control systems. The role uses inspection equipment such as a Faro Arm, height gages, thickness measurements, and hardness tests; prepares certification and documentation packages; reviews outsourced processes and material test reports; interfaces with customers and suppliers; participates in ISO9001 audits and cross-functional MRB activities; and identifies production improvements. Candidates need at least one year of related production or mechanical assembly experience or training, knowledge of first-article, nondestructive, in-process, and final inspections, and the ability to learn quality-management systems and interpret technical documents.
