Description
The Quality Improvement Manager provides hospital-wide coordination, leadership, and expertise in quality improvement programs. The role identifies performance-improvement opportunities, develops and implements decision-support techniques, supports clinical pathways and order sets, coordinates peer reviews, tracks measurements, prepares reports, and ensures compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory requirements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience, three years of healthcare quality-management experience, and preferably prior clinical patient-care experience.
