Description
Apple is hiring a Quality Engineer to partner with tooling and functional teams on product quality from the concept phase through substantial production scale. The role develops measurement technologies, control strategies, inspection tools, process specifications, audit procedures, and corrective-action programs; evaluates yields; coordinates quality engineering across multiple programs; and leads team capability and recruitment. It requires a relevant engineering degree, 10+ years of engineering and manufacturing experience including 3–5 years of people management, and experience with quality planning, supplier audits, failure analysis, measurement systems, and statistical problem-solving tools. International travel to supplier sites is 30%.
