Description
Emerald Technologies is hiring a full-time Quality Engineer for its Brea, California team to oversee PCBA product quality and manufacturing processes. The role leads root-cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions, performs X-ray validations, develops quality plans and control plans, applies SPC and MSA methods, conducts compliance audits, interprets engineering and Mil-Spec requirements, and establishes quality KPIs. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering or manufacturing degree, 3–5 years of electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly experience, at least 2 years in quality engineering, and knowledge of PCBA processes, quality management systems, and IPC standards. The position follows a standard Monday–Friday schedule with two possible shifts and offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
