Description

Etched is hiring a Quality Engineer based in Taipei to own quality assurance for advanced AI hardware builds, including semiconductor, PCBA, L10 server, and L11 rack components. The role covers supplier and contract-manufacturing quality systems, inspection and test strategies, failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions, quality metrics, supplier audits, NPI and ECO quality gates, and continuous improvement. The position requires hands-on factory work, strong knowledge of PCB/A manufacturing and quality methodologies, and experience with high-volume manufacturing quality systems.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on quality experience across L6 components, L10 server assembly, and L11 rack integration with Tier 1 contract manufacturers or ODMs
Experience establishing and managing IQC, IPQC, and OQC quality systems in high-volume manufacturing
Experience tracking and improving manufacturing quality metrics including yield, DPPM, defect density, and production escapes
Familiarity with server assembly, burn-in, and system-level test workflows
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with SMT and DIP processes
Exposure to thermal and power stress testing and system reliability engineering
Experience ramping high-complexity systems from NPI to MP
Engineering background in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing domains
