The Plant Quality Engineer coordinates resources to support manufacturing operations, leads quality and cost-improvement projects, and supports new product launches. The role drives quality improvements across the value stream, coaches quality personnel, leads operations meetings, applies root-cause and continuous-improvement methodologies, audits manufacturing controls, investigates incidents, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. The position requires a four-year degree, at least five years of quality engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and expertise in root-cause analysis, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
