Description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining part quality from purchase order through shipping at Winsted’s operations. The role develops inspection, testing, and evaluation standards; communicates purchase-order information; handles discrepant material; guides workers in measuring and testing; prepares process approvals and first-article data; interfaces with customers and suppliers; responds to corrective actions; performs audits; reviews specifications and drawings; supports manufacturing cells; maintains AS9100 records; and participates in EHS programs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or quality management and two years of relevant experience, with aerospace manufacturing experience, Six Sigma, and CQE qualifications preferred.
