Description
The Quality Engineer I supports Materion’s quality team at its Elmore, Ohio facility through a 10–12+ month, five-days-per-week onsite assignment. The role focuses on identifying and resolving customer issues using root cause analysis, supporting ISO and other quality standards through documentation and audits, participating in site improvement projects, and collaborating with customers and employees. A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field is required, with metallurgy preferred; ETQ experience, systematic quality management knowledge, computer skills, communication, training, and problem-solving abilities are also required.
