Description

MP Materials is hiring a Quality Engineer to join its process engineering team at the Mountain Pass Mine and Processing Facility in California. The role focuses on process quality, product consistency, Quality Management System compliance, ISO 9001 certification, internal and external audits, corrective actions, document control, management reviews, and quality training. Candidates need a BS or MS in chemical engineering or a similar discipline, at least three years of quality systems experience in manufacturing, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, and experience managing internal and external audits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in chemical engineering or a similar engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of quality or process engineering experience in a heavy industrial chemical plant
Experience implementing QMS software
Experience managing root cause analysis, corrective, and preventative action programs
Project management skills
Professional organization accreditation
