Description
The Quality Engineer will work on-site at the manufacturer's New Jersey plant for approximately one year. The role supports quality-system implementation and maintenance, including APQP, Core Tools, customer requirements, gauging, process control plans, supplier issues, PPAP, process capability studies, Gage R&R, inspections, work instructions, layered process audits, and customer and internal complaint management. The position requires an engineering degree, approximately five years of professional experience, automotive and manufacturing experience, IATF 16949 knowledge, GD&T, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
