Description
The Lean Manufacturing and Quality Engineer will lead Kaizen and continuous-improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, apply Lean and quality tools such as 5S, VSM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D, monitor process capability, coordinate with cross-functional teams, conduct internal and customer audits, reduce defects and customer complaints, and train production teams. The role requires strong Lean Manufacturing and quality-engineering expertise, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills, and 8 to 12 years of industrial manufacturing experience; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and Lean Six Sigma certification are preferred. The position offers a $65,000-$80,000 pay range and health, dental, and vision insurance.
