Description
The Quality Engineer will support Goodyear’s Spartech manufacturing facility in Goodyear, Arizona by overseeing ISO 9001 site certification, customer and internal quality audits, manufacturing process control, product testing, customer complaints, corrective actions, and continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S. The role also includes quality training, EHS support, and representation of the plant with customers and technical communities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or related experience, 5–7 years of quality management experience in manufacturing, 5–7 years managing direct reports, cross-functional team experience, and EHS management experience; Microsoft and SAP experience are advantageous.
