Description

Spartech is hiring a Quality Engineer in Stamford, Connecticut to lead quality management and quality control activities for its acrylic manufacturing operations. The role oversees ISO9001 compliance, audits, quality plans, inspection systems, CAPAs, customer returns, supplier quality, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least three years of quality experience, strong analytical and regulatory-compliance skills, and the ability to travel up to 15%. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, with Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Materials, or Biomedical engineering listed as acceptable fields.
Required Previous Experiences: At least three years of quality experience, with two years allowed in an equivalent field or working cross-functionally with quality in a manufacturing environment.
Track record of implementing and maintaining a quality management system.
Preferred Qualifications: ISO9001/AS9100 auditor certification
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Understanding of GD&T, datum schemes, tolerancing, and gauging
