Description
The Quality Engineer (Part Approval) is an onsite role in Fort Wayne, Indiana, responsible for managing customer and supplier part-approval documentation for new product introductions, design and specification changes, and annual revalidation. The role coordinates submissions through TSS Americas processes and JDE ERP, reviews quality documents such as PPAP and CCP materials, analyzes process and measurement data, supports complaint investigations, and guides quality-department members. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, at least three years of quality experience, part-drawing and specification knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 10% to customers and suppliers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
