Description
The Quality Engineer will establish product quality standards, lead APQP and validation activities, develop quality plans and control procedures, manage non-conformances, support quality systems and engineering changes, and coach less experienced engineers. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related technical field, at least five years of experience in automotive, defense, or manufacturing, and knowledge of AIAG quality tools, GD&T, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Microsoft Office, and problem-solving methodologies. The position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and may require varying shifts, difficult working conditions, and minimal travel.
