Description
The Quality Engineer will establish product quality standards, lead APQP and validation activities, develop quality plans and control procedures, manage non-conformance containment, support quality systems and engineering changes, and coach less experienced engineers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related technical experience, at least five years of automotive, defense, or manufacturing experience, and proficiency with AIAG quality tools, GD&T, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Microsoft Office, and problem-solving methodologies. The position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and may require shift work and minimal travel.
