Description
1X is hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing quality systems for humanoid robotic hardware, covering subassembly and PCBA validation, full-system end-of-line testing, PFMEA, failure analysis, production data analysis, DOE, and validation activities. The role partners with Test, Firmware, and Design Engineering to improve reliability, production readiness, test coverage, and manufacturing consistency. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of electromechanical hardware testing or manufacturing quality experience, and familiarity with PFMEA, Gage R&R, DOE, and statistical analysis. The compensation range is $90,000-$150,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
