The Quality Assurance Engineer applies quality principles across design, production, materials, testing, reliability, inventory, and supplier performance. The role performs technical evaluations, product failure investigations, corrective and preventive actions, audit and nonconformance reporting, inspection and testing process design, statistical analysis, and supplier certification. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, quality assurance experience, strong communication skills, root-cause investigation leadership, and corrective-action planning. Desired skills include Lean-Six-Sigma, negotiation, data visualization, AS9100, quality management systems, DCMA interfaces, and material survey resolution.
